Adrian J. Wiggins was appointed as the Executive Director of Campus Safety and Public Safety at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland in the summer of 2012. As the chief public safety officer, Wiggins leads the University’s safety, security, emergency management, and law enforcement services. Prior to this appointment, Adrian J. Wiggins severed as Morgan State University’s Chief of police for seven years. Before working at Morgan State, Mr. Wiggins served eleven years with the City University of New York Public Safety Department, ascending through the ranks to Deputy Director of Public Safety at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in New York City.

Mr. Wiggins is a graduate of Towson University where he earned Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Security Assessment and Management and a Master of Science degree in Integrated Homeland Security Management. In his personal time, he speaks to church and community youth groups about crime, drugs and gang violence.
